Monday marks the first day of EMS Week. EMS Week is an annual nationwide tradition recognizing prehospital care providers for their service. At GEFD, we are taking the time to acknowledge the hard work of our clinicians amidst the COVID-19 pandemic. Like the rest of the country, our volunteers have had their normal routine upended. That uncertainty is combined with selfless sacrifice as they risk exposure and infection on a daily basis. Keep an eye out for more information this coming week, and be sure to thank an EMS provider!
