Glen Echo Fire Department Awards Banquet
Glen Echo Fire Department held its annual awards banquet in January. Operational personnel, Conduit Road Fire Board members, friends, and family gathered to reflect on the department’s strides over the past year.
We are proud to highlight outstanding members who were celebrated for their contributions to the department. With 993 hours and 187 responses, EMT Ari Krysmalski accumulated the most staffing hours and most responses throughout 2023. Honorable mentions were given to EMT Bethany Perkins at 992 hours and EMT Jaclyn McKenney with 147 responses. EMS Provider Candidate Conner Gil received the Probie of the Year Award, and Sergeant Will Copeland was recognized for the Best Officer Award. Lieutenant Jane Callen was given the Outstanding Service Award, and Lieutenant Victor Graves was presented with the Lifetime Achievement Award. Finally, for over a decade of service, Sergeant Mike Rohr earned Life Membership at GEFD.
